The optical transceiver module is used for high-speed Ethernet and Telecommunication networking applications.
The module supports data rates from 103.1Gb/s to 111.8Gb/s, which allows the module to support
a wide variety of networking applications including 100GBASE-ER4 and OTU-4.
It is offered in a cost-effective CFP form factor with a standard MSA compliant interface.
By applying the latest IC technology, this 100Gbps module not only provides for low power
consumption but also offering the latest features and protocols.
The module supports a link length up to 40km on standard single mode fiber such as SMF-28.
100Gbps optical signal is carried over four wavelengths. The module consists of a 1:4 optical MUX and DeMUX,
EML-based high performance optical transmitter and PIN based low-noise optical receiver to provide E/O and O/E signal conversion
and an advanced Gearbox IC chip to offer electrical signal translation between 10X10Gbps/11.2Gbps and 4X25Gbps/28Gbps.
SOA (semiconductor optical amplifier) is used for 1310nm optical signal re-generation in high-speed Ethernet
and Telecommunication networking application. This 10-lane 10Gbps electrical signal is fully compliant with 802.3ba CAUI specifications and OUT-4.
A built-in PRBS generator and error detector enhances a system’s testability.
